Enhanced Public Safety

Some of our neighborhoods experience frequent crime ranging from mailbox theft, car theft to more serious violent crimes. Everyone, no matter their address, deserves to live in a safe neighborhood!

 

What I’ve done so far:

Created a rating system to pinpoint the most beneficial economic development projects to repair infrastructure, create diverse housing and create jobs – leveraging over $400 million.

 

What I’ll do next:

Collaborate with community organizations that do work related to reducing the root causes of crime such as addressing homelessness, gun violence, youth programs, and healthcare.

 

Continue to drive investment into areas experiencing public safety challenges.
