“From housing to public safety to the overall cost of living, I am committed to building a better future for all Kansas Citians.”

I’m Melissa Patterson Hazley, and I’m running for the Kansas City Council for the 3rd District At-Large on three promises:

I'm prepared. From housing to public safety to the overall cost of living, we face too many issues to have leaders who are anything else.

I’m committed. Public service is about much more than one meeting a week at City Hall – it’s about meeting the people where they are, in every part of town. That’s what I’ll do – as a candidate and as a council member.

I’m collaborative. Our challenges demand more than symbolic voting and political posturing. I’ll work with anyone who’s committed to making my hometown, Kansas City, a better place!

I’m proud of my record of accomplishment as a researcher, campaign manager and community advocate, and I look forward to earning your vote!

“I want to earn your vote on June 20th!
